Exposure Control Guidelines in the Truck Bed Liner Industry for Low Pressure System Applications
These guidelines were prepared to provide general information and explain the precautions and practices associated with the safe handling of MDI in the TBL industry during low pressure system application. Specifically, this document will discuss engineering controls (e.g., adequate ventilation), PPE and general work practices common to the TBL Industry. Also available in Spanish translation.

The Center for the Polyurethanes Industry of the American Chemistry Council promotes the sustainable growth of the polyurethane industry, by identifying and managing issues that could impact the industry, in cooperation with user groups. Its members are U.S. producers or distributors of chemicals and equipment used to make polyurethane and manufacturers of polyurethane products.

Did You Know?

Setting up a spill clean-up plan may help you quickly clean up product if a spill or leak occurs. Protecting people first, then minimizing environmental releases and protecting property will help prevent people from being exposed to potentially harmful levels of MDI. Of course, any spill should be addressed in compliance with U.S. environmental laws and in accordance with the manufacturers MSDS.
